to 53 feet.
- 18,000 and
22,000 BTU models
- Thermostat
controls
- Free Standing
- No electricity

Northstar Flameless
Front Mount Heaters are:
- SAFE: Flameless
catalytic heat operating at 850o F is below the
flash point of most flammable cargo. Equipped with a
thermocouple safety shut-off system.
FUEL EFFICIENT: Clean
burn of low cost propane (LP) gas provides instant heat for
pennies per hour. No fumes or soot. No loss of
heat through a heat exchanger. Operating at constant
full heat output, Front Mount Heaters will run at least 4
days on a 100-lb. tank of propane.
HIGH HEATING
CAPACITY: Unique
ducting system moves 200oF air
throughout the trailer. Self-contained, no electrical
power required.
LIGHT WEIGHT: Durable
light weight design (100 lbs.) means you are able to haul more freight.
EASY SERVICE: No
moving parts, engines or batteries. Pop-out
control panel and catalytic element assembly designed for
easy maintenance and parts replacement.

PROPANE SOURCE OPTIONS
- Two 20 lb. (5 gallon) tanks housed
securely in a proven, durable, steel cabinet. Can be mounted on
the front of the trailer or under the trailer.
- 100 lb. ASME cylinder. Built to
highest standards with stop fill gauge, mounting pads, rust and
impact resistant powder coating.
FUEL EFFICIENCY
- 18,000 BTU heater operating at
continuous maximum heat production consumes
just under a pound of propane per hour. A full 100 lb. cylinder
will provide for 119 hours of uninterrupted heating.
- 22,000 BTU heater operating at
continuous maximum heat production consumes
just over a pound of propane per hour. A full 100 lb. cylinder
will provide for 97 hours of operation.
INSTALLATION
Front Mount series heaters require 2
duct holes to be cut in the front of the trailer; one to bring cool
air from the trailer into the heater, the other for hot air transfer
to the cargo area. The cold wall bulkhead cycles 150 cu.ft./min. of
hot air into the trailer without the use of fans.

Front Mount heaters are available
in 18,000 or 22,000 BTU models.
- Convected heat – no fans, no
electrical requirement
- Thermostatically controlled heat
modulation
- Flow Meter - indicates operating
status
- Propane powered – low cost,
clean burning, readily available
- Thermocouple safety shut-off
system
